Every year, it’s one of my unmissable events in December : my selection of The Body Shop Christmas gift ideas ! You know that it is a brand that I have loved for a long time and their boxes are always well thought out, with actions for fair trade, the promotion of women’s work, etc. Let’s go to their discovery.
The Body Shop 2020 commitment
Each year, for the holidays, the brand decides to donate part of its profits. This year, The Body Shop France is mobilizing to provide better legal support for women victims of violence. The company pledges to donate a minimum of 30,000 euros to the Fondation des Femmes through its Christmas sales. This donation will finance in 2021 the legal actions of the Foundation carried out by experts (lawyers, lawyers, etc.) in the service of women’s rights.
This type of action makes it possible to raise awareness among consumers who are not, and for people who are more committed, to contribute in a simple (and fun) way to a cause that he/she wishes to support. This is what I would call smart shopping.
