I love to prepare yummy and various breakfasts throughout the year. Today, I share a gluten and dairy free granola recipe. Follow the recipe step by step to treat you while waking up.
To make this recipe, I mostly did my shopping at Day by Day where I buy everything in bulk. This store is perfect for buying the right amount of ingredients we need for a recipe.
Gluten and dairy free Granola recipe
Ingredients
200g of oatmeal
50g of pecan
50g of almonds
30g of sunflower seeds
30g of sesame seeds
100g dried cranberries
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
2 tablespoons maple syrup
Preheat the oven to 180°C (rotating heat).
Put the walnuts and almonds in the bowl of a robot and mix for about 30 seconds to roughly grind the nuts. Pour in a large bowl with all other ingredients. Mix everything.
In a saucepan, melt the coconut oil with the maple syrup. When all is liquid, pour over dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. We get a slightly sticky mass.
Transfer the mixture to a tray covered with parchment paper and bake for 20-30 minutes, until the cereals are crispy. While cooking, stir occasionally so that everything is golden brown and the top does not burn.
Once the cooking is finished, take the tray out of the oven and let the granola cool down. Once cold, transfer the cereals to an airtight container.
Enjoy granola with dairy free milk or yogurt, and fresh fruit for an energetic breakfast.
Variations :
If you do not have pecans, it is possible to use the nuts of your choice. Same thing for dried fruit, if you do not like cranberries, use dried grapes, apricots, dates cut into pieces, etc.
