Christmas is coming so fast and having gift ideas is not always easy! Year after year, stores and brands are developing more and more their offers. I have prepared a small selection, both beauty and lifestyle!

The gift sets are always a good idea to discover a brand or range of products. The “classic” gift boxes touch at once skincare, make-up, fragrance, etc. In parallel, it is possible to find ultra playful gifts at low prices that will fit in the tree or on your holiday table. Indeed, Christmas crackers so dear to our neighbors across the sea are found more and more in our french shops.
You know that I particularly like the brand The Body Shop and as usual, they combine the useful and the pleasant with their Christmas boxes. The brand is teaming up with the International Alert association for its “Peace Play Project” campaign, which helps Syrian refugee children in Lebanon to find some peace by creating spaces for play and healing. In parallel, some boxes were created with the British designer House of Holland.
To give life to packagings ultra playful in symbiosis with the campaign “Peace Play Project”: boxes that turn into games, boxes that open and let appear beautiful “pop up” illustrations…In short , everything has been done so that Christmas is a big party! In my 2018 selection, The Body Shop’s signature White Musk set contains the eau de toilette, body lotion, shower gel and a pomander – all illustrated by House of Holland. To pamper the skin in winter, I recommend one of my favorite ranges: the Shea Kit containing soap, shower gel, body scrub (travel size) and body butter (travel size). For small last-minute gifts, the Magic Balls, also referred to as House of Holland, contain body butter (travel size) and lip balm.
If the person to whom you wish to give a gift has a bathtub, offering bathing care or perfumes promises moments of relaxation and pleasure. I had a big favorite for this box of Aromatic Bath Petals from FOREO (unfortunately, not sold in France).
For makeup addicts, the Best Year Ever kit from Too Faced is perfect! In a limited edition vanity, three different palettes of 18 eye shadows, both matte and shimmery, as well as three complexion products (a blush, a bronzer and a highlighter) were combined. The box also contains a Better Than Sex mascara in travel size and a Glamor Guide to find inspiration to create new looks.
A beautiful perfume from a niche brand is a nice surprise to slip under the tree. I wanted a fragrance that speaks of travel and the one that touched me is Histoire d’Orangers of L’Artisan Parfumeur. Created by Marie Salamagne, Histoire d’Orangers captures the memory of a sunset on the walls of Taroudant in Morocco. This fragrance immersed me in my trip in Marrakech by its lightness, delicacy and pureness. Histoire d’Orangers is a light floral fragrance and can be wear by both women and men.
Christmas gift ideas: lifestyle selection
I could not make a gift selection without tea and an home fragrance! For tea, the Dammann Frères gift sets are just as sublime in their packaging as their tea selections. For example, the box “Pourpre” offers an assortment of 36 tea bags from the following varieties: Coquelicot Gourmand, Grand Goût Russe, Fujian Vert, Miss Dammann, Oolong Caramel au Beurre salé, Touareg, thé vert à la menthe.
Candles with Christmas fragrances are essential for me. They are warm, we dive into the atmosphere of the holiday season.
