Piñata Colada – Le nouveau cocktail estival de The Body Shop

Pinta Colada The Body Shop

Un petit cocktail?

Fancy a cocktail?

Pinta Colada The Body Shop

THE BODY SHOP – Piñita Colada

Pinta Colada The Body Shop

Who has not dreamed of chilling on beautiful beaches with a fresh cocktail ? I must admit that the idea appeals to me – especially, as soon as a ray of sunlight shows in the parisian grey shades!

How to break the routine subway-work-sleep? It’s very simple, I turn my bathroom into small Caribbean bubble with the new range Piñata Colada The Body Shop!

THE BODY SHOP – Piñata Colada

This new exotic body range is a limited edition for the summer. The theme? The beach, the sun, pina colada and especially the holidays!

The fragrance that inspired this is the famous cocktail of coconut and pineapple. It’s fresh, slightly sweetness and especially with a « I »m going back for it »!

You will find four products in the range: shower gel (€7), body scrub (€17), body butter (€17) and body sorbet (€12).

Pinita Colada – My test

I tried the Body Scrub and Body Sorbet.

The Body Sorbet is a product to which I go back every summer because I think they are very pleasant to use and tend to replace a classic fragrance. Its texture is light and melts into the skin. Hydration is immediate and we can jump in our clothes or swimsuit right away!

The Body Scrub is made with coconut powder and enriched Brazil soy germ oil, transforming the formula in a rich exfoliating with small beads texture. Coconut as an exfoliant made this scrub, a gentle product suitable for sensitive skin. Its fragrance is very greedy without being too heady.
This scrub removes dead skin cells – which is perfect for preparing the skin for hair removal, self-tanning if you use this type of product, and for hydration to maintain the softness of the skin!

Piñata Colada – My opinion?

I do not tend to turn to very sweet fragrances but the Piñata Colada range remains fresh and subtle with a touch of acidity that characterizes pineapple. The two products I’ve tested are so delightful to use and are the perfect combination of skincare and having fun!

The pineapple gives some warmth to the fragrance, sweet and exotic on the skin and the coconut brings a juicy freshness as if you sipped a freshly cut coconut by 40°C!

This limited edition is very well made and it makes me escape even further than the cockail from the summer 2015: Virgin Mojito! Could this be the beginning of a long series of cocktails at The Body Shop in which we will dive in every summer?
