Les premiers mots d’un nouveau chapitre.

The first words of a new chapter.

If you follow me on social medias, you already know: I’m moving at the end of august near Paris! It will be my 13th or 14th but who’s counting?.

If someone had told me few years earlier, I would have wanted to be closer to Paris, I would not have believed it. I lived in a few big cities in the South of France but I couldn’t see myself in the capital… And yet, here I come in Île-de-France!

Several reasons have led me to take these decisions and especially the blog. This little part of me growing up and open me to another world in Paris. I’m loving it and I want to continue to explore everything  I create and connect with the world and its people.

Paris is a city where I have friends and where I like to walk. This is a place where there is always something to discover and I was dreaming about a bit of excitement. Indeed, after finishing my dregree in Marseille, I searched for work. I was searching something very specific (NB: I am a clinical psychologist) and when I found a job I wasn’t about the the geographical area. This led me to start my career in the countryside. This didn’t bother me but when you are 25 yo, we want to enjoy life, see the world, etc. Then I moved after taking another step in my career. I was then 100 kilometers north-east of Paris.

I am used to go there like once a month … sometimes it could be up to 4/5 times a month! So when I took the decision to change on a professional level, my research were naturally oriented in a perimeter around the capital … And I found something! I would be about fifteen kilometers to the north of Paris and I thrilled!

Life can be a bit messy because when things can be achieved, we can feel a bit of anxiety. I wasn’t sure about my decision and (small) risk I was taking, but at one point I had a click in my head. Things were in place and everything made sense!

Turning a page of life, a change, can also bring a little tightness in the throat. Changing routines, habits…All of that always gives us to wonder about our comfort zone. I am among those people who like to try new things and challenges, renew yourself – and above all, to dream. Even if I moved a lot, there is a kind of excitement about exploring. I see myself a little like an

modern times explorer

and remind me of my childhood days where I played the archaeologist in the garden!

I extremely looking forward to it and enjoy everything! In recent days, I’m in storage mode, sorting and boxing. Being very sensitive to Feng Shui, I try to empty my material life. I am also inspired by the KonMari method. Although I have not read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up (I think I get it occasionally), some toughts of her method is found in Feng Shui and follow a logic that

totally

makes sense to me.

Regarding the blog, it should

normally

run until the end of August. You’ll find 6 posts per week including 2 videos. In September, I cann’t guarantee anything yet. Although I would like to continue as I do it now (thank to my obsessional side) but anticipating the month of September is a bit complicated when you are on the move. Having 3/4 days to move out and move in before starting my new job (September 1st), this doesn’t leave me much time. Be certain I will do my best to continue to feed the blog with content and videos. However, I think that the current schedule will be difficult to reset for the first weeks and even more so that I do not know when I would have an internet connection!

I thought I will base myself on last year schedul which was 4 posts per week with one video. In any case, I will try my best to go through the transition and feel free to follow me on TwitterIntagramFacebook and Snapchat (marshmalloword) for live news!

See you soon for this new adventure!
