A l’origine, seul un crayon à sourcils disponible existait chez Bourjois. Depuis quelques semaines, Bourjois a lancé 3 nouveaux produits pour satisfaire nos besoins et/ou envies. Le maquillage des sourcils devient de plus en plus un essentiel. Nous voulons parfaire leur ligne, teinte, etc. en un seul geste. Nous aimons les produits compacts et faciles à utiliser.
Originally, only eyebrows pencils were available from the brand Bourjois. For few weeks now, Bourjois has launched three new products to satisfy our needs and/or desires. Eyebrow makeup becomes increasingly an essential. We want to perfect their shape, shade, etc. in a single gesture. We love the compact and easy to use products.
BOURJOIS – Brow Natural
Le Brow Natural est un feutre à sourcils qui veut avoir un fini naturel. La pointe permet de tracer des traits relativement précis d’environ 1 millimètre. Son objectif est de parfaire la ligne du sourcils avec un jeu d’ombre. Les couleurs de la gamme sont semi-transparentes: oui, ça va apporter de la couleur mais ça n’a pas un effet « eyeliner », trop dessiné.
C’est le type de produit qui s’utilise sur les zones clairsemées et donner l’illusion d’une pilosité harmonieuse.
Trois teintes sont disponibles: T21 Blond, T22 Châtain ET T23 Brun. Celle que j’ai testée est la T22 et pour ma couleur tant de cheveux que de sourcils, elle est un peu claire. C’est pour cela que je combine l’utilisation du feutre avec un mascara teinté pour les sourcils afin de trouver l’équilibre.
La formule offre une bonne tenue au court de la journée.
Comme pour un crayon, je conseille de déposer le produit par petites touches (pointillés) afin d’un résultat naturel.
Ce produit peut s’utiliser seul ou combiner avec un mascara à sourcils pour intensifier et fixer la ligne.
BOURJOIS – Brow Natural
The Brow Natural is a felt tip which wants to have a natural finish. The tip is used to draw relatively fine lines (about 1 millimeter). Its aim is to perfect the line of the eyebrows by playing with shadows. The shades in the range are semi-transparent: yes, it will bring color and no « eyeliner » effect.
This is the type of product that can be used on sparse areas and give the illusion of an even brow.
Three shades are available: T21 Blonde, T22 Chestnut and T23 Brown. The one I tested was the T22 and my hair color as my eyebrows are a bit darker than this product. That is why I combine the use of the felt tip with a tinted mascara to find a balance in the color.
The formula provides good a lasting power throughout the day.
Like a pencil, I advise to file the brows by small lines (dotted line) for a natural result. This product can be used on its one or combined with an brow mascara to intensify and fix the line.
BOURJOIS – Brow Design
Le Brow Design est un mascara sourcils combinant trois actions. Sa formule va coiffer, teinter et fixer les sourcils pour les redensifier et les discipliner.
A la différence d’autres mascaras sourcils, le Brow Design ne se compose pas de petite fibre qu donne l’illusion d’un sourcil plus épais. Son action est cibler sur la couleur et la ligne des sourcils.
Quatre teintes sont disponibles: #01 Transparent, #02 Blond, #03 Châtain et #04 Brun.
Ce qui m’a intriguée est la taille de la brosse qui est le triple de celle du Gimme Brow de Benefit, pour ne citer que celui-là. Je me suis demandée pourquoi et je dois avouer que j’avais un peu peur de l’utiliser. Une fois lancée, j’ai compris que la brosse permettait de dessiner le sourcil sur la longueur et de vraiment avoir une base dense. Le geste est direct et continu. C’est une technique différente pour un effet intense.
On peut également avec une action plus précise en n’utilisant que le bout de la brosse.
L’effet est plaisant et j’aime la manière dont la brosse englobe la tête du sourcil. A nouveau, la teinte châtain est légèrement un peu trop claire pour moi. La teinte tire a des reflets davantage chocolat alors que je tire plus sur les teintes brunes cendrées.
BOURJOIS – Brow Design
The Brow Design is a mascara with a three actions combination. Its formula will brush, tint and fix the brows for redensify and smooth the lines.
Unlike other eyebrows mascaras, the Brow Design doen’st have small fiber in the formula which give the illusion of a thicker eyebrow. Its action is targeted on the color and the line of the eyebrows.
Four colors are available: #01 Transparent, #02 Blonde , #03 Chestnut and #04 Brown.
What intrigued me was the size of the brush that is three times bigger than the Benefit Gimme Brow, to name just one. I wondered why and I must admit, I was a bit afraid to use it. Once started, I realized that the brush allowed to draw on the eyebrow length and really have a dense base. The gesture is direct and continuous. It’s a different technique for an intense effect.
It is also possible, by only using the tip of the brush, to have a more specific action.
The effect is nice and I like how the brush includes the head of the eyebrow. Again, the brown color is slightly a little too light for me. The shade is a on the chocolate spectrum while I’m more in the ashy brown.
BOURJOIS – Brow Beauty Touch
Le Brow Beauty Touch est la touche finale que Bourjois vous propose d’ajouter à votre routine maquillage sourcils. Comme son nom le suggère, il s’agit d’un crayon illuminateur. La teinte est blanche irisée.
Le produit se présente sous la forme d’un crayon épais et va vous permettre d’ajouter des touches de lumière au niveau du regard. La formule se rapproche d’une cire crémeuse qui s’estompe facilement au doigt. Le fini est légèrement satiné sur la peau.
Ce produit peut s’utiliser au coin interne de l’œil afin de réveiller votre regard.
Ce produit est facile d’utilisation: déposer du produit et estomper le pour un effet diffus. Vous pouvez utiliser ce crayon à différents endroits de vos sourcils:
- Appliquez le produit seulement entre le sommet de l’arc et la queue du sourcil pour un effet discret.
- Appliquez du crayon tout le long de la ligne inférieur du sourcil pour ouvrir davantage le regard.
- Appliquez du crayon tout autour de votre ligne de sourcil (cf. photos) pour mettre en avant votre regard et structurer votre visage avec une inspiration contouring.
Utiliser un crayon illuminateur ou une ombre à paupière claire au niveau de l’arcade permet de ramener de la lumière au niveau du regard et surtout flouter les premières repousses.
BOURJOIS – Brow Beauty Touch
The Brow Beauty Touch is the final touch to add to your eyebrows makeup routine. As the name suggests, it’is an illuminator in a pencil shape. The color is slightly shimmery (white/gold).
The product comes in the form of a thick pencil and will allow you to add touches of light on your eyes. The formula is similar to a creamy wax which is easy to blend with your finger. The finish is slightly satin on the skin.
This product can be used in the inner corner of the eye to awaken your eyes.
This product is easy to use: draw some dots/lines and blend it for a diffuse effect. You can use this pen in different places of your eyebrows:
- Apply the product only from the arc to the end of your eyebrow for a discreet effect. Don’t forget to blend.
- Apply the pencil along the lower line of the eyebrow to further open the eyes. Blend
- Apply the pencil all around your eyebrow line (see photos) to highlight your eyes and structure your face with a contouring inspiration.
Using a light/shimmery pencil or eyeshadow under and/or around brows helps bring light and allow to blur the early hair regrowth.

Le feutre est vraiment une découverte pour moi et j’ai envie de m’aventurer davantage de ce côté-là (avec une teinte qui se rapprocherait davantage de ma couleur). C’est pratique, facile et la tenue est bonne – ce qui est toujours un plus lorsqu’il fait chaud.
Concernant le mascara, j’ai une préférence pour les formules avec les micro fibres. Ces produits correspondent davantage à mes besoins actuels puisque je suis en plein processus de faire épaissir mes sourcils. Peut-être qu’une fois le but atteint, je n’aurais besoin que d’un peu de couleur et de fixation.
La touche illuminatrice est sympa. Ce n’est pas forcément un produit que j’utilise quotidiennement mais lorsqu’on veut vraiment avoir un visage structuré par un jeu d’ombres et de lumières, c’est un produit qui a tout son sens. Le bonus est que si vous l’utilisez en coin interne de l’œil, il tient plus longtemps que les ombres à paupières.
Quel(s) produit(s) aimeriez-vous tester?
The felt tip is a real discovery for me and I want to try more things like this one (with a shade that would be a better match though). It’s convenient, easy with a good lasting power – which is always a plus when it’s summer time.
Regarding the mascara, I have a preference for formulas with micro fibers. These products correspond more to my current needs since I am in the process of thicken my eyebrows. Maybe once the goal is achieved, I would only need a touch of color and fixing.
The illuminating touch is nice. This is not necessarily a product that I will use every day but when you want to really have a structured face by playing with shadows and lights, it’s a product that has all its meaning. The bonus is that if you use it in the inner corner of the eye, it has a better lasting than an classic eyeshadow.
