The Artist

A favorite of mine to perfect your eyebrows.

The Brow Artist Plumper is an eyebrows mascara which is very close to the Benefit Gimme Brow. It »s a gel enriched micro-fibers to fill and perfect eyebrows. This mascara is available in three shades: transparent, light brown and dark brown.

Unlike the Benefit one which is an ultra compact product, the Brow Artist Plumper is different by size, amount of product and how you use it. Its wand is much longer than the Gimme Brow. This allows to introduce more amplitude in the gesture. Although at first I wondered why it was so big, I went to the evidence that I preferred this size. Indeed, the length of the wand and the small brush is an optimal and comfortable combination for the application.

The brush is conical which allows a higher precision. The end of the brush is thinner and it allows to use only the amount of product where you need it.

Since I tried it, I can not live without! At all levels, this is an artist. It will place the hair, fill, adjust the color and fix the eyebrows. Its gel formula provides a long-lasting power while being very discreet: it doesn’t stick or shine.

For an optimum application, I suggest you to:

  1. Brush your eyebrows with a classic spoolie to start setting them up and remove all powder residue and Co.
  2. With the mascara, brush through your brows from bottom to top and from the inside to the outside of the brow.
  3. Go again with the Brow Artist Plumper and don’t hesitate to emphasize on the sparse or thinner areas of the brows to give the illusion of fuller brows. If an area is too sparse, brushing the spot place against the hair to add a bit more product to the root of the eyebrow. This will intensify the shadow and enhance the shape.

I really like The Brow Artist Plumper because it’s an effective and sufficient product to itself. Nevertheless, you can combine it with a more worked eyebrow makeup (stay tuned for tomorrow’s video). It’s a product that I’m using daily and that allows me to give the illusion of more filled eyebrows until mine are as I want them to be.

The dark brown color also matches pretty well the color of my brows and hair. It’s neither too « brown » or too « ashy ».

The brush distributes the right amount of product. The effect is natural and doesn’t give a too much make-up effect. The gel formula fixe the eyebrows without giving a caky effect.

So, the Brow Artist Plumper is a brows mascara that I could not do without! The effect is guaranteed, it would be a shame to miss!

And you, what eyebrow makeup product is your favorite?
